Adam Sewell- Lead Pastor

Christmas 2013 Picture Final JPEG

Adam and Ashley Sewell moved to Pittsburgh in December of 2013. Adam has served in both youth  pastor and worship pastors roles in churches in South Carolina and North Carolina. In August of 2012 he  accepted a position with the North American Mission Board to begin preparing to plant a church. He and  Ashley both felt that God was calling them back to their home state and to the city of Pittsburgh. For them  it is simple, they are called to Love God, Love People, and Do Something About It. This is the heart behind  The Well Church.

Adam graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in Christian Studies. He has had the opportunity to serve on many mission trips around the world including places  such as Mozambique, Serbia, and the Dominican Republic. Throughout these experiences he has seen how  important it is to spread the Good News to the entire world. Through these trips and many others Adam and Ashley have developed a heart for those who don’t know Christ as their Savior especially in an inner-city setting.

Ashley also has a heart for international missions and desires to see the Gospel taken to the ends of the Earth. Ashley is a vital part of the ministry at The Well Church as she disciples women and leads bible studies.
